Travel
Fly into Minneapolis-St. Paul Airport (MSP)
Getting an Uber or Lyft from the airport to a hotel downtown should be around $20-30, unless you’re traveling during rush hour. The light rail (train) can take you directly from the airport to downtown Minneapolis on the blue line, and a single ride is $2.
Take the Amtrak train into St. Paul-Minneapolis, Union Depot (MSP)
Two train lines run through the Twin Cities: the Empire Builder and Borealis. The trip from Chicago takes about 8 hours. The light rail can take you directly from the train station to downtown Minneapolis on the green line.
Parking
At the hotel
If you are driving to one of the hotels in downtown Minneapolis, they both have $35 daily parking fees. Both downtown hotels are only a few blocks away from the venue, so we recommend leaving your car parked at your hotel and walking to the venue (~5 minute walk).
At the venue
If you are driving to the venue, there is a parking ramp right across the street from the museum called the Mill Quarter Municipal Ramp (711 S Second St, Minneapolis, MN 55401). There is also hourly, metered street parking around the area.
